Mindy Minzhu Zhao

Hi👋! I am Mindy, Minzhu Zhao, a first-year Ph.D. student from Grouplens Research Center at the University of Minnesota. I am luckily advised by Prof. Lana Yarosh.

My previous experience mainly focuses on social media and online communities, particularly on online harmful content (e.g. misinformation, misogyny). My research interest is on the intersection between society and technology, particularly the equitable, ethical and empathetic technology or digital platform for vulnerable groups.
